Scope of Position The primary responsibility of the sales representative is to listen to the customer to determine what their needs are and to provide solutions to meet those needs through establishing a relationship based on trust and confidence on the part of the customer. Responsibilities Ensure that the solutions recommended meet the needs of the client. Qualify prospects. Accomplish sales goals established. Establish trust and rapport with the client. Maintain an active prospecting process to fill the pipeline consistently over time. Maintain required information in the CRM database necessary to prepare ongoing call reporting and provide documentation of tasks, calls, meetings, emails, etc., related to current and potential customers. Obtaining management approval of all proposals prior to delivering them to the client is required. Prepare a job package that includes a complete written description of the job, including a detailed roof map, photographs, measurements, location of penetrations, and other pertinent information necessary to develop an accurate cost estimate. Complete a comprehensive turnover package for Operations (e.g., all contract documents, final quotes from vendors, complete manufacturer preinstallation notice, submittals, handles all change orders). Focused on private negotiated reroofs. Visit the job site periodically to evaluate progress and customer satisfaction. Ability to carry and climb ladders, confidence on rooftops, ability to take roof samples (cores), and to thoroughly document roof conditions, measurements, etc. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
