**Reports to:** Restaurant Manager

**Salary/Grade Level:** $9.80/hr + tips AZ Wilderness Brewing was created to celebrate handcrafted, artisanal beers that are inspired by the beautiful and diverse state of Arizona. Our mission is to produce socially, ethically, and environmentally responsible craft beer with the intention of inspiring and uplifting our local Arizona community. Our employees are our most valuable resource and our success depends upon creating and retaining a staff capable of delivering an exceptional customer experience to every patron, every time. We are looking for a full-time or part-time Barback to join our amazing team.

**Essential Functions**

* Ensure bars are fully stocked with all items of service.

* Clean glassware to company standards and retrieve dirty glassware from collection areas and empty tables.

* Ensure that all beer, wine, and cocktails are served according to company standards.

* Ensure a clean and well-stocked bar.

* Update beer, wine, and cocktail menus and signage to reflect any changes and inform manager and team.

* Inform manager of any issues relating to draft system.

* Ensure work area, walk in, restrooms, drink areas, and tables are clean, sanitized, free of clutter, stocked, and in good working order.

* Clean, stock, and manage merchandise area and helps guests with any purchase needs.

**Qualification Standards**

* Walk/stand 100% of shift.

* Work indoors and outdoors at all times of year.

* Reach, bend, stoop, lift, carry, and wipe frequently.

* Lift up to 85lbs. as individual, team lift up to 170lbs. several times per shift.

* Ability to clearly verbalize and respond to guests.

* Ability to read and write English.

* Frequent immersion of hands in water and use of chemical cleaners and sanitizers.
