At Dawood Engineering, Inc., we provide multi-disciplined consulting services for a wide range of industries encompassing Transportation, Energy & Land Planning/Site Development.Our engineers and professionals provide Highway Design and Traffic Engineering, Bridge and Structural Engineering, Civil Design, Surveying and Mapping, Pipeline and Associated Facility Design, Geotechnical/Geophysical, Environmental Studies and Water/Wastewater design.We are currently seeking a Project Engineer (Geotechnical) to join our team in either our King of Prussia, Harrisburg, or Canonsburg office locations. As a Geotechnical Project Engineer you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects preforming geotechnical design and analysis. This position will also require occasional field work.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Prepare data, charts, plots, maps, records, and documents relevant to a given property's soil profileData reduction and organization to provide recommendations for foundation designPreform design work of deep and shallow foundationsConduct slope stability analysis and assist in report preparation and assemblyOn-site observation of excavation techniques and soil samplingCo-design geotechnical engineering projectsCoordinate and execute various projects with geotechnical staffWork alongside project management teams to successfully monitor progress and implementation of initiativesPerform other related duties, as requiredRequirementsRequired Qualifications:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty mentioned satisfactorily.
