Description

The development department of Aludyne makes a decisive contribution to the product and design development of chassis components and is in close contact with the global Aludyne development locations. (US/France/Germany)

Your tasks in detail:

Design development:

•Responsible for design development and fault diagnosis from prototype to production phase (DFM, DFMEA)

•Direct technical contact for our customers. Participates in the APQP process with Program Manager

•Planning of bench tests and validation by DVP&R

•Conducts design reviews, extensive communication with manufacturing team, program managers, sales team, quality team and test labs worldwide

•Change management process (creation and tracking of ECN/ECR)

CAE and 2D/3D drawings

•Planning of simulation needs (for structure and casting processes)

•Supports the CAE group in creating FEA models

•Coordination of production process with Aludyne manufacturing facilities

•Identifies critical dimensions (GD&T)

Cooperation with suppliers

•Definition of component specifications for suppliers

Requirements

Qualifications:

Professional experience: 1-5 years in the field of vehicle development

Degree: Successfully completed master's degree in mechanical engineering, automotive engineering or a comparable technical degree

IT skills: Safe handling of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Catia V5, UG, Hyperworks (Hypermesh, Hyperview), nCode (Fatigue), Abaqus, Minitab.

Language skills: Confident German and English skills, both spoken and written

Personal skills: Structured and goal-oriented way of working, analytical way of thinking, ability to work in a team, commitment, communication skills.

Miscellaneous: Interest in the automotive industry (especially chassis), knowledge of metallurgy and material behavior of metal parts, GD&T experience and knowledge of statistics, knowledge of the current national and international vehicle market desirable. Knowledge or experience in relevant manufacturing processes, especially the casting process (HPDC, LPDC) is an advantage.
