Collaborates with project stakeholders to identify product and technical requirements. Conducts analysis to determine integration needs. Designs new software and web applications, supports applications under development and customizes current applications. Assists with the software update process for existing applications and rollouts of software releases. Participates in training representatives and operations staff on internally developed software applications. Researches, writes and edits documentation and technical requirements, including software designs, evaluation plans, test results, technical manuals and formal recommendations and reports. Monitors and evaluates competitive applications and products. Review literature, patents and current practices relevant to the solution of assigned projects. Provides technical leadership throughout the design process and guidance with regards to practices, procedures and techniques. Serves as a guide and mentor for junior-level Software Development Engineers. Displays in-depth knowledge of engineering methodologies, concepts, skills and their application in the area of specified engineering specialty. Displays in-depth knowledge of and ability to apply, process design and redesign skills. Presents and defends architectural, design and technical choices to internal audiences. Researches, writes and edits documentation and technical requirements, including evaluation plans, confluence pages, white papers, presentations, test results, technical manuals, formal recommendations and reports. Creates patents, Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) and other intellectual property. Presents papers and/or attends conferences, as well as displaying leadership in these areas. Tests and evaluates solutions presented to the Company by various internal and external partners and vendors. Completes case studies, testing and reporting. Represents the work team and organization as the prime technical contact on assigned projects. Serves as a leader to others on assigned projects. Provides guidance and leadership to more junior engineers. Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance. Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Qualifications: Proficient in one of Linux C++, Golang, or Spark, with excellent algorithm foundation and system design skills. Strong foundation in machine learning and mathematical statistics, familiarity with TensorFlow or other mainstream machine learning frameworks Demonstrates a strong sense of business-oriented product development, capable of translating business requirements into corresponding technical problems and solutions. Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, software engineering, electronics, or related fields is preferred. Possesses excellent teamwork, proactive thinking, self-driven work ethic, and a strong sense of responsibility. Excellent English communication skills, capable of working in an English-speaking environment. Prior experience in the advertising industry is a plus. Experience in AWS or other cloud platform development is preferred. Education: Bachelor's Degree or above. Relevant Work Experience: 5 years or above.
