International Development and Relief NonprofitSalary: $100,000 to $120,000 per year, with potential flexibility based on experience
Terrific Director of Philanthropy position with an international development and relief nonprofit whose mission has an impact on issues including health, education, and poverty. The Director of Philanthropy position will be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of fundraising, primarily focused on major gifts from individuals, but also include corporations and foundations. This position is relational in nature and will be responsible for building and nurturing strong relationships with donors and other strategic partners. The Director will also manage, mentor and train a team of three fundraising professionals. Qualified candidates will have approximately 7+ years of relevant fundraising experience, including time in a supervisory role. This position is remote and can be based anywhere in the US (Midwest or West Coast preferred). The salary range for this position is $100,000 to $120,000 per year, with potential flexibility based on experience + excellent benefits including:

- Manage the full lifecycle of fundraising for a portfolio of major gift donors including individuals, corporations, and foundations
- Design and Implement fundraising strategies to maximize fundraising efforts
- Identify new donors, foundations, corporate partners, and other strategic partnerships to further organizational funding
- Oversee proposal development and grant submissions; ensure grant guidelines are followed
- Manage and mentor a team of three fundraising professionals
- Travel internationally and domestically to meet with donors, team members, and attend organizational meetings
- Approximately 7+ of years relevant fundraising experience, including time in a management role and recent major gifts experience
- Excellent relationship building skills with the ability to connect with donors
- Demonstrated track record of success in securing gifts and leading fundraising teams to meet or exceed goals
- Experience developing various fundraising programs
- Strong prospecting skills
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally, as needed
- Salesforce or a similar donor CRM
- Experience with a cause-focused or international nonprofit preferred
