Sales Manager Job Num: 56276 h5Job DescriptionCompany is a supplier of suspension ball joints, aluminum suspension links, steering tie rods and stabilizer connecting rods to the North American automotive industry.Office : NOVI Michigan Position for the Sales Manager Base : 120KMAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESManage Sales Passenger Car OEM & Tier 1 accounts, service, and customer supportBuild and maintain positive customer relationships, collect customer feedback, and persuade customers to purchase or specify company's products.Solve customer issues and resolve conflicts.Ensure timely and effective solutions to our customer's needs.Represent company professionally and reinforce a positive impression to all customersPrepare presentations and conduct sales calls on Passenger Car OEM & Tier 1 customersEstablish and maintain customer contacts and is the primary liaison for customer requestsFacilitate teamwork in studying, evaluating and preparing customer proposalsResponsible for all product related commercial interface with customer, including quotations, volume pricing, and funding negotiationsAnalyze, research and share current and future program planning, such as current and future program sales status, customer market trend, next program and customer news and vehicle informationBuild and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationshipsInvestigate and resolve technical questions and warranty appeals which require special attention or on-site visitsCommunicate and report the progress of sales initiatives to managementSKILLS/QUALIFICATIONSKnowledge of the Passenger Car Industry, customers and productsExperience and relationships with U.S O.E.M and/or Tier 1 customers preferredStrong negotiating skills with solid technical aptitude utilizing high levels of logic and integrityRequired to demonstrate a sense of urgency with a strong desire to succeedExcellent communication skills (written, verbal, presentation)Excellent PC skills - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OutlookStrong technical and analytical skills to support data investigation and analysisAbility to investigate product issues and resolve with customerStrong organizational skills, time management, and prioritization skillsA self-starter, independent thinker, highly motivated and hardworkingTechnical/sales skills, including negotiating, and professional appearance along with ability to travel efficientlySuperior interpersonal skills including rapport with internal and external customersTeam player with positive attitudeRequirements:Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
