The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) is a state-of-the-art multidisciplinary ICU and Stroke Unit. The unit is a general ICU that includes critically ill cardiac, respiratory, septic, neurological, surgical, neurosurgical, orthopedic and gynecology patients. Job Details Our Assistant Nursing Care Coordinator (ANCC) will: * Assist the Director & Nurse Manager in delegating and coordinating nursing care activities of all patients on the nursing unit * Mentor, supervise, and evaluate the team to reach their full potential and inspire continual professional growth * Partner with an interdisciplinary team including, but not limited to, attending physicians, registered nurses (RNs), and ancillary staff to optimize patient outcomes and satisfaction. * Advocate for and build meaningful relationships with patients and their loved ones through safety intervention, emotional support and education. What you'll bring: * Passion for Critical Care and an interest in growing as a leader in Nursing * 1-2+ Years of RN experience working in an ICU setting * Previous leadership experience preferred * Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing * Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree required * Licensure: New York Registered Nurse (RN) License & Registration * Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) & Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications required Salary Range USD $52.00 - USD $66.00 /Hr. This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
