**Assistant Buyer**

at FOX Factory, Inc. 491 W. Garfield Ave, Coldwater, MI, US **Position Summary:**

Assist buyer(s) with all purchasing needs.

**Position Responsibilities:**

Research, evaluate and purchase products

Must ensure that suppliers can fulfill the product requirements on time, while maintaining a quality product

Place orders and ensure inventory is properly distributed

Shop for the best sources

Prepare purchase orders or other agreements as necessary and check them for accuracy and completeness before issuing

Review acknowledgements for agreement with purchase orders and resolve any discrepancies with the supplier to the best possible advantage for this organization.

Follow-up or expedite orders as necessary to meet schedules

Keep the Purchasing Manager informed of all activities or problems and submit reports as requested by management

Answering vendor questions and providing them with additional order documentation as needed

Develop an efficient and accurate system for monitoring all open purchase orders

Work with the inventory management team to ensure that all deliveries satisfy the assigned purchase orders and report any back-ordered or missing products

Organizes and implements with direction from a buyer and/or the purchasing manager strategies to accomplish small business and disadvantaged business sourcing programs consistent with company guidelines.

Comply with all state and federal laws as required

**Position Qualifications:**

**Education:**

High School Diploma or equivalent

**Experience**:

1-3 years in purchasing role
