Description

The Service Writer will report to the Repair Branch Manager and prepare detailed estimates for customers in need of repairs for their residential and commercial pools. This individual will be responsible for client communication and satisfaction while following their projects through closing the sale.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with other managers, administrators, and Repair Branch Manager to coordinate Repair Estimates.
  • Follow incoming leads to ensure timely and professional customer service
  • Contact customers to assess need and provide a competitive estimate for their swimming pool repairs
  • Utilize clear communication and continuously evaluate/adjust estimates throughout the project lifecycle to ensure proper timeline and costs
  • Responsible for providing detailed information in the estimate for purchasing, project management, budget items, and material choices
  • Performs other operational duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent sales and customer service skills with proven negotiation skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Requirements

Education and Experience:
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience in swimming pool service, repairs, renovation, and/or construction; sales experience a plus
  • Ability to assess all aspects of pools, water features, and equipment to ensure thorough and accurate estimates
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications and ability to operate computers, tablets, and/or smartphones
  • Experience with ServiceTitan or other field service management and CRM software
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred but not required
  • Excellent customer service
Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
