Patient Care Tech Opportunity Join Parkridge Medical Center, where our team is devoted to giving back to the community. As a Patient Care Technician, you will be a vital member of our nursing care team, providing hands-on care and helping create a safe, welcoming environment for patients. Your support will bring comfort, dignity, and connection to those who need it most, helping us to improve lives every day. Your responsibilities will include: Assisting with patient preparation, mobility, transfers, and comfort to support smooth procedures and recovery Providing non-medicated care like dressing changes, skin protection, and use of supportive devices Keeping patient areas, operating rooms, and common spaces clean, organized, and stocked to maintain safety and efficiency Managing supplies, equipment, and environmental logs to keep the team ready and protect patients through infection control Communicating kindly with patients, families, and the care team while promoting safety and quality efforts Qualifications required: Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date Parkridge Medical Center is a 270+ bed hospital near downtown Chattanooga. We offer comprehensive diagnostic, medical, and surgical services, including cardiovascular surgery, cancer treatment, intensive care, orthopedic and spine surgery, rehabilitation, a state-of-the-art neurosurgery program, OB-GYN services, and access to a level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and behavioral health treatment centers for children and adults.
