As Builts Installation Design Plans (IDPs) Installation Requirement Documents (IRDs)

Installation experience:

Running fiber, Ethernet or shipboard cable Termination experience of Ethernet cable, fiber or shipboard connectors Familiar with installation standards:

EIA/TIA TEMPEST Mil standards

Familiar with reading installation diagrams Familiar with the NIWC Shore Installation Process Handbook (SIPH) Ability and willingness to travel (30% to 40% of the time) to CONUS and OCONUS locations throughout the world Ability to lift 50 lbs Ability and willingness to work in a fast-paced team environment DESIRED SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS: Preferred certifications (not required):

BICSI certs Fiber termination cert

Systems knowledge (not required):

AutoCAD CMPRO or equivalent asset management software / database

#LI-AM1] SRC is continuing and expanding our support of the Navy's Network Security Integrated Product Team (NS IPT) Computer Network Defense (CND) program on a five year delivery order. The SRC team provides cutting-edge engineering, analysis, integration and life cycle sustainment support for the NS IPT/CND systems. The purpose of the Navy's NW IPT/CND program is to augment CND capabilities and integrate them into the unique environments encountered by Navy forces. Navy CND is an integral part of the cyber defense posture, protecting the Navy's component of the Global Information Grid (GIG) from exploitation and strongly linking to critical infrastructure protection. Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Atlantic requires resources to support the Research, Development, Test & Evaluation (RDT&E) and Integration activities for the Information Technology for the 21st Century (IT-21), and OCONUS Navy Enterprise Network (ONENET) networks, to enhance network and cyber security. PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Acts as a member of the Integration team Provides support in the build-out, testing, installation, cut-over, and troubleshooting of CND equipment Conducts efforts in both our Charleston, SC location as well as at deployed environments throughout multiple Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Areas of Responsibility (AORs) Acts motivated and adaptable, with a background in network engineering, willing and able to execute mission critical operations in support of NIWC Atlantic and the Navy's CND program
