Job **

The Ely Center, LLC seeks a compassionate and skilled Part-Time Mental Health Clinician to join our team. As a Mental Health Clinician, you will be responsible for providing counseling services to individuals within our neurodiverse client base. This role requires a deep appreciation for neurodiversity and a commitment to supporting individuals with a range of social cognitive and social communication differences.

Key *

  1. Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand clients strengths, challenges, and goals.
  2. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each clients unique needs and preferences.
  3. Collaborate with clients, families, and other members of the interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated and holistic care.
  4. Offer support and guidance to clients navigating social relationships, transitions, and life challenges.
  5. Advocate for the needs and rights of neurodiverse individuals within the community.
  6. Stay current with best practices and research in neurodiversity and mental health counseling.
  7. Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with professional standards and legal requirements.

*

  1. Masters degree or higher in counseling, social work, psychology, or a related field.
  2. Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Psychologist in the state of Massachusetts.
  3. Experience working with neurodiverse populations, including individuals with autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, anxiety, learning differences, and other developmental disabilities.
  4. Strong clinical skills and knowledge of evidence-based interventions for mental health and social communication challenges.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport and build trust with clients and their families.
  6. Commitment to cultural competence, diversity, equity, and inclusion in counseling practice.
  7. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  8. Willingness to participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.

This part-time position has flexible hours based on client needs and clinician availability. We are looking for someone who can work and maintain anywhere between 10-25 client hours per week). Presently, we have office space available all day on Wednesday and Friday, mornings Monday through Friday, and weekends.Many of our clinicians work virtually in addition to offering in-person hours., We are flexible to add a virtual caseload any day of the week.
