The Speech-Language Pathologist will perform screenings, assess students/clients, and design therapy and treatment plans to help the students develop their communication skills to their maximum potential. You should be knowledgeable about speech-related conditions and evidenced based therapy approaches.

Our company is looking for an SLP that develops individualized treatment plans to better suit the individual needs of a diverse patient population. You should be caring, adaptable, analytical, and resourceful. Our company is ran by a Speech-Language Pathologist with 20 years of experience and we provide ongoing support and education to our staff.

*Speech Pathologist Responsibilities:*
* Performing comprehensive speech and language evaluations
* Creating treatment and therapy plans to suit the individualized needs of the students
* Performing screenings
* Document findings of assessments in the student's IEP
* Attend IEP meetings (95% virtual)
* Educating parents, teachers, and family members about speech disorders and treatment plans.
* Keeping detailed records relating to student conditions, care plans, therapies, and progress.
* Reporting progress and current status to appropriate parties, which may include family members, teachers, or medical professionals

*Speech Pathologist Requirements:*
* Master’s degree in Speech-language Pathology
* Valid state license or certification
* 1-2 year experience preferred
* Experience working with pre-school and school age children preferred
* Strong understanding of speech-related conditions and treatments
* Excellent coaching and verbal and written communication skills
* Proficiency with computers, especially patient and healthcare databases
* Attentive and caring
* Ability to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and write Evaluations.
