THE JOB:

As a Model & Apprentice Bartender, you will be responsible for serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks while maintaining the cleanliness of the bar. You will also set the stage for guest experience with your welcoming smile and service. By understanding their unique stories and needs, you will own their experience to create WOW memories they will carry with them far and beyond their stay with us.

THE STARTING RATE: $15.0343 Per Hour + Tips

THE DAY-TO-DAY:
  • Provide support to bartender to ensure proper operation of the bar
  • Prepare all mixes and garnishes
  • Fill in and assist bartender with mixing and serving drinks, as necessary, proportioning ingredients to exact recipes and cost criteria
  • Greet guests in a positive, friendly manner, and exemplifying MGM SHOW standards
  • Stocks all glassware, condiments, beer, paper products, and other necessary items needed for efficient operation
  • Gets change for bartender as required
  • Perform all opening and closing duties, based upon shift assignment
  • Clean and maintain equipment, tools, and supplies - ensuring items are sanitary and in good working order
  • Communicate with management and service team to fulfill and address any issues or needs requested by guests or other employees
  • Participate in modeling, presentations, and promotional events and programs throughout the casino and resort
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
  • Must be 21+ years of age
  • Must hold or be able to obtain Food Handlers card and Alcohol Awareness card
  • Work varied shifts, to include nights, weekends and holidays
  • 2+ years experience as a barback or apprentice bartender, or 6+ months in a fine-dining environment
