**Salary:** $13 - $13 Per Hour

The Department of Public Works is looking to hire seasonal employees for up to six months.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**

(Experience in one of the following is required)

* Cleaning and maintaining public areas

* Collecting and disposing of trash

* Preparation of recreational areas such as pools, parks, and sports fields

* General maintenance of facilities

* Perform related duties and manual labor as assigned

* Ability to frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds

* Possession of a valid drivers license

* Ability to maintain working relationships with co-workers

* Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions

**Hours & Wage:** The starting rate for the position is $13.00 per hour. Work hours are 6:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., on Saturday and Sunday, and 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Monday through Wednesday. Lincolnwood residency is **not** required for this position
