Agronomy Sales Manager

To manage the agronomy sales team in marketing and providing agronomy products and services in a manner that maximizes departmental effectiveness and achieves the cooperative's goals while maintaining the cooperative's integrity.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Include but are not limited to the following:

  • Promotes the sales of agronomy inputs and related products, to farmer patrons, and manages client relationships.
  • Mentors and coaches the sales team.
  • Implements sales goals and product forecasts with sales team.
  • Continually upgrades knowledge on agronomy products and services
  • Assists in the MAPS Recommendations, Yield Mapping, and NRCS Nutrient Management Plans.
  • Give recommendations on seed, fertilizer, and chemical inputs to our patrons for primarily corn and soybeans crops
  • Computer skills with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, as well as a good agronomic background are desirable
Job Requirements:
  • Licensed and insurable to drive
  • Must have or be able to obtain a Class A CDL with tanker and hazmat endorsements
  • Must have or be able to obtain a CCA License
