POSITION PURPOSE:

The Thibaut Fine Furniture, Furniture Specialist is dedicated to guaranteeing that the Furniture division delivers and champions top-notch customer service, aiming to achieve utmost customer satisfaction.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Handle all aspects of custom product quoting and order placement. • Coordinate the placement of vendor purchase orders and manage follow-up processes. • Execute customer service and provide support for sales activities. • Take charge of logistics for customer orders. • Approve vendor invoicing promptly. • Strong sales support background and customer-focused approach. • Collaborate with other departments or team members to create a seamless and positive customer experience. • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the furniture products offered by the company.

REQUIREMENTS, REASONING ABILITIES AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related programs. • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and interact with various vendors. • Commitment to quality and attention to detail. • Job requires the use of a computer, phone, calculator, and other technological equipment. • Ability to sit throughout the shift.

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE: • Bachelor’s degree in related field. • 2-3 years’ experience in furniture sales or a related environment. • Demonstrated expertise in furniture products, materials, and styles. • Strong interpersonal and communication skills. • Strong sales support background and customer-focused approach. • Knowledge of furniture materials, construction, and design principles. • Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.
