Sr. Architect

Sr. Architect (Java FSE) Cognizant's Digital Engineering practice is seeking a highly qualified Architect with experience in Java FSE, developing and building hard-working, scalable, enterprise applications. You will be part of a digital software team that works on high-demand applications. Our Architects have a passion for high-quality, reliable, and maintainable code. You will work side by side with product managers, designers, and clients, making decisions together to quickly deliver valuable working software to clients and their users. Responsibilities:

We are seeking a Sr. Architect - Technology with a strong background in designing and implementing robust solutions in the Property & Casualty Insurance domain.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Java Fullstack, Spring Boot, Angular 10+, and AWS.

With 10 to 13 years of experience, the individual will play a pivotal role in shaping our technology landscape, ensuring our architecture aligns with business goals and delivers exceptional value.

Lead the design and implementation of scalable high-performance software solutions using Java Fullstack Spring Boot and Angular 10+.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure architectural designs align with business requirements.

Drive the adoption of AWS cloud services optimizing for performance and scalability.

Ensure solutions are designed with security best practices and compliance standards in mind.

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams fostering a culture of excellence.

Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends applying insights to drive innovation.

Conduct architectural reviews and assessments identifying opportunities for improvement.

Facilitate the integration of new technologies into existing systems ensuring seamless transitions.

Work closely with stakeholders in the Property & Casualty Insurance domain to understand their needs and challenges.

Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for architectural designs and decisions.

Optimize application performance through rigorous testing and tuning.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent.

10+ years of relevant experience.

Proven experience as a technology architect with expertise in Java Fullstack, Spring Boot, Angular 10+,

SAP C/4HANA CPQ

, and AWS.

Strong understanding of the Property & Casualty Insurance domain with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a dynamic fast-paced environment.

Strong communication and collaboration skills with a track record of successful cross-functional teamwork.

Commitment to continuous learning and improvement staying updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.

Salary and compensation The annual salary for this position is between $120K - $165K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
