Job Description

Finance is responsible for all areas of financial management for the Company, including treasury, accounting, tax, audit, financial planning, investor relations, financial controls, capital management, and certain corporate development activities.

Our FP&A group within Finance is adding to their team and seeking a Financial Analyst, Financial Planning & Analysis. This role will be responsible for supporting critical reporting and analyses to support external financial reporting and internal business support management reporting for senior management and our affiliated investment managers. The position will report to the Director, Financial Planning & Analysis.

This position will be based in Hartford, CT, and will work a hybrid schedule of three days in the office per week with changes as business needs arise.

Primary Job Responsibilities

Prepare monthly consolidation and reconciliation of assets under management (“AUM”), including external reporting on the 7th business day of each month Perform analytics to ensure the reasonableness of AUM data received from investment accounting platforms Analyze and communicate key drivers of AUM changes including flows and market performance Support preparation of quarterly public earnings releases and investor call disclosures Assist in certification of operating and financial information included in regulatory filings, investor presentations, employee communications, and corporate board reporting Support preparation of quarterly management reports for affiliated investment managers Support preparation of executive-level presentations and management reports to facilitate effective communication of the Company’s actual and projected financial results

Ideal Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in accounting. CPA is preferred. Two to five years of experience in financial reporting and analysis; prior experience in the asset management industry is a plus Requires strong attention to detail Technology orientation; relentlessly pursues automation of repetitive tasks Expert in Microsoft Excel. TM1 experience is a plus Programming experience with SQL and/or Python is a plus Experience utilizing PowerBI or Tableau is a plus Demonstrated financial skills, including the application of those skills Ability to handle multiple assignments on a timely basis with a high degree of accuracy

The base salary range is $72,000 to $98,000.

The starting salary offer will vary based on the applicant’s education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity, and alignment with market data. #J-18808-Ljbffr
