Job Description
We are looking for a Staff Accountant to join our team You will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial records for our company.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and examine accounting records, financial statements, taxes, and other financial reports
Develop and analyze reporting for business operations and budgets
Perform audits, ensuring adherence to standard requirements
Create new processes to improve financial efficiency
Report analysis and findings to management team
Perform AR/AP activities by analyzing and processing accounting information into accounting system; document business transactions
Prepare and maintain G/L accounts; perform G/L account reconciliations including bank reconciliation
Perform month-end closing procedures and prepare monthly reports; maintain financial statements
Perform credit analysis for new account set-up or credit extension
Prepare AR/AP aging report s; perform past due AR collection
Assist in internal and external audit by planning working schedule and preparing required documents, ensuring adherence to standard requirements
Examine and process accounting information of fixed assets acquisition
Prepare and perform periodically inventory count
Develop and analyze reporting for business operations
Prepare ad hoc reports
Qualifications:
Previous experience in accounting or other related fields
Experience with current computer accounting programs and reporting tools
Detail and deadline-oriented
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Bachelor’s Degree (B.S. or B.A.) from a four-year college or university in Accounting, Finance or Business administration
Minimum 1 year of accounting or related experience in manufacturing industry preferred
Previous experience in SAP FICO preferred
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Strong Analytical and problem solving skills, time management skills and the ability to prioritize and multi-task
Self-starter, fast learner, and detail and deadline- oriente
Exceptional Microsoft Office skills required, including spreadsheet development, document controlled and organization
Bilingual ( English and Chinese) as a plus.
