FULL-TIME FOR OUR MUNSTER LOCATION

Knowledge of outpatient Modified Barium Swallow Studies preferred.

Some overflow coverage for inpatient as schedule allows.

POSITION PURPOSE AND SUMMARY

Provides direct patient care, develops plans to accomplish goals. Coordinates assigned patient loads, and workload of patient care support personnel and performs specialized tasks as assigned by Supervisor and/or department head. Participates in clinical education program for students from affiliating universities after minimal completion of CFY. Participates in QM program and attains required procedural competencies.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
  • Graduate of an accredited university program in Speech Therapy.
  • Minimum work experience: new graduate to 1-2 years in field.
  • License/Registration/Certification: Indiana Licensure, CPR certification current, BLS Course C (Basic life support)
  • A Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) is required following completion of the Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY-SLP).
