Location: Reflections Medical - Martinsville, NJ
**MUST BE ABLE TO WORK AT BOTH REFLECTION LOCATIONS AS NEEDED - MARTINSVILLE & LIVINGSTON NJ** **WORKING HOURS INCLUDE BOTH DAYTIME (ex. 9:00 am -5:00 pm) AND EVENING SHIFTS (ex. 11:00 am-7:00 pm) , ALL STAFF IS REQUIRED TO WORK 1-2 SATURDAYS PER MONTH**
The Receptionist will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our patients, managing the appointment schedule, and maintaining accurate patient records. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, able to multitask, and have excellent communication skills.
- Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner, and direct them to the appropriate department or physician.
- Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and manage patient inquiries in a timely and efficient manner.
- Schedule patient appointments and update the appointment schedule as needed.
- Verify patient insurance coverage and collect co-payments or outstanding balances at the time of service.
- Maintain accurate patient records, including demographic information, medical history, and appointment details.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Collaborate with medical staff and other departments to ensure efficient patient flow and quality care.
- Manage the waiting room to ensure patients are seen in a timely manner.
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a medical office setting preferred.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.
- Strong customer service, as well as organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and electronic medical records systems.
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is a plus.

Salary Description
$18 - $21 per hour depending on experience
