About the Family Enrichment Center CASW is thrilled and honored to participate in an innovative and groundbreaking endeavor within the Division of Child and Family Well-Being at ACS, aiming to establish citywide Family Enrichment Centers (FEC). These welcoming, inclusive, and secure spaces resemble homes, where community members in the Washington Heights/Inwood neighborhood can forge connections, acquire new skills, engage in diverse activities, and access vital resources for the growth and well-being of children, families, and individuals. Summary of Position We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Quality Assurance and Quality Improvement Lead. In this role, you will be responsible for attending virtual and in-person trainings and meetings, as well as engaging community members in data gathering and feedback-related activities. You will play a crucial role in regularly assessing program operations, activities, and systems to identify areas of improvement. Additionally, you will develop, implement, and maintain specific systems for performance measurement, monitoring, quality assurance, and improvement. Primary Responsibilities Attend virtual and in-person trainings and meetings related to quality assurance and quality improvement. Engage community members in data gathering and feedback-related activities. Collect and analyze information, including feedback from parent leaders and community participants. Conduct regular assessments of program operations, activities, and systems. Identify strengths and areas for improvement within the organization. Develop and implement systems for performance measurement, monitoring, and quality assurance. Maintain and report on quality improvement initiatives as required by ACS. Collaborate with the FEC Director and the Executive Director to ensure effective implementation of quality improvement strategies. Degree & Experience Qualifications Baccalaureate Degree and at least two (2) years of professional experience in QA/QI Excellent writing and speaking skills Excellent analytical skills Required Skills Knowledge of and commitment to the Washington Heights and Inwood community. Strong interpersonal skills, able to connect with and engage children, youth, and families Knowledge and experience in youth and young adult programming, as well as conducting community events. Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, enabling effective communication and collaboration with staff, participants, and community members at all levels. Commitment to working from a trauma-informed, strength-based, youth, and family development perspective. Preferred Skills Knowledge of one or more of the FEC frameworks (equity, co-design, Appreciative Inquiry, Family Protective Factors) or other frameworks/approaches with similar components.
