CGP: Accountant

Century Group has partnered with a great company in the manufacturing industry who is searching for an Accountant to join their team. This role is a mix of accounting, AP, and AR and will report to the CFO. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience and location. Expected starting base salary $70,000 to $75,000 per year.

Job Description:

Review all vendor invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to paymentManage purchase orders and enter invoices into the accounting system (MS Dynamics 365 Business Central)Prepare and process accounts payable checks, eChecks, and wiresReconcile vendor and customer statements, 3-way matchingComplete AP and AR month-end and year-end close and account analysisCreate and maintain account reconciliation schedules and analysis of the accountsSubmit journal entries for approval, including payroll, insurances, month-end accruals and deferralsPrepare bank reconciliationsMaintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices.Ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely for all entitiesMaintain all employee files with 100% accuracy, process payroll and human resources changes

Requirements:

Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skillsAble to communicate with professionals at all levelsAble to communicate complex information to a variety of audiencesStrong planning, organization, problem-solving and analytical skills

Experience:

Bachelor's or Associate's degree in accounting or related field, or completed certification program in accounting principlesSolid computer skills; strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word and Outlook)Experience with MS Dynamics 365 Business Central preferred
