Site Manager (Structures/Precast) | South Dublin | Residential
€70-80k (Neg/DOE).
Experienced Residential Site Manager (Structures/Precast) for 450+ unit residential development in South Dublin. The successful candidate will oversee the structural and precast concrete phases of our residential development projects. This role involves ensuring that all structural elements are constructed according to design specifications, timelines, and quality standards while maintaining the highest levels of safety and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management:
Oversee all structural and precast concrete activities on residential construction sites.
Ensure that structural works are completed on time, within budget, and to the specified quality standards.
Apartment, windows, cladding, block sealing.
All things building envelope.
Planning and Coordination:
Develop detailed work schedules and coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and completion of tasks.
Monitor progress and adjust schedules as necessary to accommodate any changes or delays.
Quality Assurance:
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure that all structural and precast works comply with design specifications, building codes, and quality standards.
Identify and address any defects or issues promptly to maintain the highest standards of construction quality.
Health and Safety:
Implement and enforce health and safety policies and procedures on site.
Conduct regular safety audits and toolbox talks to promote a safe working environment for all site personnel.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of all structural and precast activities, including daily logs, inspection reports, and quality assurance documentation.
Provide regular updates and reports to the Project Manager on the progress of structural works and any issues encountered.
Team Leadership:
Lead and supervise on-site structural and precast teams, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient and high-quality work.
Foster a positive and productive work environment, encouraging teamwork and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in site management with a focus on structural and precast concrete works in residential construction.
Proven track record of managing structural phases of residential projects successfully.
Certifications:
SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification.
First Aid certification is desirable.
Skills:
In-depth knowledge of structural and precast concrete construction processes and materials.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Project).
