As an Outpatient Pulmonologist, you will diagnose and treat patients with respiratory and pulmonary disorders in an outpatient setting. You will work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to our patients. The ideal candidate will have excellent clinical skills, a strong commitment to patient care, and the ability to work effectively within a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with a variety of pulmonary conditions such as asthma, COPD, interstitial lung disease, and other respiratory disorders.
  • Perform and interpret pulmonary function tests, bronchoscopies, and other diagnostic procedures.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.
  • Provide education and counseling to patients and their families regarding their condition, treatment options, and lifestyle modifications.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare providers, including primary care physicians, specialists, and respiratory therapists, to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical records in compliance with clinic policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the continuous improvement of patient care services.
  • Stay current with advancements in pulmonary medicine and participate in ongoing professional development.
Qualifications:
  • Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Pulmonary Medicine.
  • Valid medical license to practice in the state of Arizona.
  • Strong clinical skills with a focus on evidence-based practice.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care to patients.
