The organization consists of a standalone fifty-five (55) bed hospital and six outlying outpatient facilities that have anywhere from fourteen (14) beds to one hundred and thirty-four (134) beds. The organization has approximately four hundred (400) employees.We are hiring a motivated Mental Health Therapist Registered to join our team The qualified candidate must have an MSW, MFT, or Master in Counseling from an accredited university. Must be registered with BBS. Responsibilities providing psychotherapy to clients ages 6-21 in individual, family, and group settings. Other responsibilities include advocacy and case management. Services are provided in the Child & Adolescent Outpatient Clinic and in local elementary, middle, and high schools. Minimum Experience RequiredSuccessful employment or internship providing individual child, adolescent, family, and group therapyEmployment or Internship experience in crisis interventionExperience in treatment planningExperience utilizing Evidenced Based Practices (TF-CBT, Triple P, IPT, MAP, CORS, Seeking Safety)Minimum Education RequiredMaster's Degree from an accredited school of Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or LPCC, and registered with the Board of Behavioral Science (BBSE) or Board of Psychology.Minimum Certification RequiredRegistered with BBS and/or Licensed WaiveredEssential SkillsOne (1) year of experience providing individual children, adolescents, family, and group therapyFunctional experience in a hospital, social service agency, or residential treatment facility with children and adolescentsSuccessful experience in adolescent substance abuse, child and sexual abuseTreatment and diagnostic skills utilizing the DSM VFunctional experience with Los Angeles County Mental Health SystemAbility to complete documentation (i.e., progress notes) within 24 hoursProvide at least 25 hours of service delivery weeklyAbility to utilize Electronic Health Record systemPhysical StrengthLight work: able to lift a maximum of 20 poundsGateways offers a competitive salary with excellent benefits (medical and dental insurance; 403b Retirement Plan with company contribution, Supplemental Insurance plans, Life and Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance program, Flexible Spending plan, paid Vacation, Sick Time, Personal Holidays and paid Holidays).Location: Los Angeles / Gateways Hospital and Mental Health Center / GCAOPStatus: (5) Full-Time / Non-Exempt / UnionQualificationsSpanish speaking highly recommended
