As a member of the Seating Purchasing team, the Senior Buyer will be responsible for purchasing and negotiating production materials from vendors. The Senior Buyer will be responsible for cost effective procurement and delivery of material and services required to support plant and customer requirements.

**The Role:**

Your work will include, but not be limited to:

* Protecting or enhancing company margins by coordinating lowest cost sourcing, maintaining or improving material margins through launch, and driving post-launch cost reduction idea generation/implementation

* Developing commodity strategies to achieve results

* Negotiating long term agreements and/or program award agreements

* Familiarity with commercial terms and total cost management concepts required
