Senior Data Scientist

Seranova Bio is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to lead end-to-end analytics on our expanding serological atlas, from data ingestion to statistical analysis, modeling, and clear communication of insights. You will build reproducible pipelines, establish computable phenotypes from real?world data, operate and improve our autoantibody analysis stack, and develop predictive models that hold up in the real world. Youll partner closely with clinicians, wet?lab scientists, and engineers to translate findings into targets, biomarkers, and next steps for the platform. This is a highly collaborative IC role with high visibility and substantial ownership. Key Responsibilities Design and implement computational and statistical methodologies for autoantibody?based target and biomarker discovery Build pipelines to integrate disparate data from EHR, clinical trial, and/or registry data sources into Seranovas serological atlas Define and maintain computable EHR cohorts and phenotypes Design, run, and maintain autoantibody?wide association studies using Seranovas serological atlas Present and communicate analyses and insights to internal colleagues and external partners Ideal Qualifications PhD (or MS and equivalent experience) in statistical genetics, biostatistics, statistics, computational biology, machine learning, or equivalent field 2+ years analyzing large biomedical real?world datasets; experience in biomarker/target discovery Proficiency with Python, R, and SQL; strong practices in reproducibility and version control Rigorous intuition in statistics and ML (study design, confounding, regularization, class imbalance, calibration/interpretability) Excellent communication and project/stakeholder management skills About you Rigorous - You are highly diligent and hold your work to the highest standards Curious - You enjoy learning new things Self?Directed - You enjoy a fast?paced environment and can often teach yourself Adaptable - You can think on your feet and propose solutions to new problems About us We are passionate about improving patients lives We hold ourselves to the highest standards of scientific rigor We prioritize long?term impact and recognize that sustainable work?life balance is essential to success Competitive compensation (including equity) and benefits.
