ARG has recently partnered with a rapidly growing PE-backed 3PL that is seeking to add a rockstar Sr Accountant to their growing team. Reporting directly to the Controller, this role will be highly visible and have opportunities for future growth into an Accounting Manager (and beyond).

Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA certification preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting roles, with a focus on reconciliations, prepaids, general ledger reconciliations, fixed assets, and month-end close. Experience with Netsuite or similar ERP systems. Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy. Open to contract-to-hire employment arrangement. Willingness to work on-site in Carson, five days a week.

Job Duties: Perform reconciliations of various accounts, including bank accounts, balance sheet accounts, and intercompany accounts. Prepare and review prepaid expenses, ensuring accurate recognition and allocation. Conduct general ledger reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data. Manage fixed assets, including tracking, depreciation, and reconciliation to the general ledger. Lead month-end close activities, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting. Review accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes for accuracy and completeness. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies and improve processes. Utilize Netsuite or other accounting systems to perform daily tasks efficiently. Assist with ad-hoc projects and tasks as assigned by management. Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
