Barista

We are opening a new board game cafe in Burlingame A board cafe is somewhere people can go to play board games, drink coffee and hang out with their friends. We are looking for a barista to join our team to help us make drinks for our customers. We are working with locally roasted coffee beans from Soul Grind, and have a La Marzocco 3 group espresso machine. We are planning on opening by April 30th, 2024 Requirements: clean, meticulous a team player with integrity a polite and engaging personality exceptional listening and communication skills commitment to customer satisfaction and service excellence has experience in food and beverage preparation and customer service has the willingness to continue learning about food and beverage preparation willing to help out at areas of operation if necessary eg: relieving the register, clean tables ok to work as part of a high-energy and efficient team in a fast-paced work environment ability to walk, bend and stand for extended periods availability to work peak hours, including nights, early mornings, weekends and holidays able and willing to comply with all health codes at all times has current servsafe certificate Estimated Cafe Open Hours: Monday | 7am - 2pm Tuesday | 7am - 2pm Wednesday | 7am - 2pm Thursday | 7am - 2pm Friday | 7am - 10pm Saturday | 7am - 10pm Sunday | 7am - 7pm
