ONSITE OPPORTUNITY This role is required to be full-time in office in Eugene, Oregon. As a result, only candidates in Eugene or surrounding municipalities should apply. POSITION OVERVIEW The Systems Administrator is responsible for ensuring our customer-facing and office environments are stable, scalable, secure and up to date. This role will also be responsible for server configuration, software and operating system upgrade projects, server operating system patching, WordPress upgrades, staff laptop configuration, staff hardware and software support, and other IT projects. A successful Systems Administrator will work on Linux servers, Windows servers, Windows laptops, and Mac laptops. REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS BA/BS or equivalent work experience preferred 4 7 years of experience with Microsoft operating systems, including Windows Server and Windows 11 4 7 years of experience with Linux operating systems, preferably AlmaLinux or Red Hat (or similar) Familiarity with Microsoft Azure Familiarity with Microsoft Entra Active Directory Experience supporting infrastructure for a high-traffic website Experience configuring a load balancer Experience with network infrastructure (firewalls, switches, wireless access points) Experience installing and updating WordPress Experience with SSO configuration Familiarity with monitoring tools such as New Relic or Grafana Familiarity with security best practices Familiarity with email deliverability best practices Experience managing Microsoft 365 OTHER SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS Proficient at verbal and written communication Attentive to detail An excellent problem-solver Able to work well in a team environment Able to work independently and manage multiple projects concurrently Willing to monitor servers on weekends Willing to undertake off?hours update and maintenance tasks OTHER DESIRABLE SKILLS Familiarity with Apache, Tomcat, and IIS Experience supporting a Java web application Experience with Apple MacBooks Experience with WordPress Multisite Experience with SOLR Experience with configuration of SSL certificates on Linux and Windows web servers Experience with containerization Familiarity with VPN configuration Familiarity with DNS Familiarity with SCP and FTP Experience with scripting via shell scripts, batch files, Python, and/or PowerShell Familiarity with Microsoft Intune Familiarity with SQL and Microsoft SQL Server, mySQL, or mariaDB Familiarity with the real estate industry $90,000 - $120,000 a year. This position is going to be based out of iHomefinder's HQ in Eugene, OR. This full?time, onsite role pays an annual salary of $90,000.00 - $120,000.00. This position will remain open through October 31st, 2025.
