Invoice Clerk Job Overview: Audits store paperwork, corrects errors, and ensures accuracy before review by accounting team. Essential Job Functions include, but not limited to: Verifies paperwork submitted by locations Sales Method of payments Paid Outs Invoices Write-Offs Transfers Expenses House Charges Fuel Inventory Over/Shorts Corrects errors in paperwork and documents those corrections Communicates issues timely and effectively with Store Manager and Operations Manager Identifies deficiencies within the auditing process and meets with appropriate staff to resolve deficiencies Collaborates with accounting team and Operations Manager as needed Submits coupons for reimbursement Ability to sit at a desk and work on a computer for prolonged periods of time Vision abilities required by this job include close vision Follows company safety guidelines Ability to handle high levels of stress Regular and reliable attendance in office Ability to operate in a constant state of alertness Preferred Qualifications/Experience/Education Ability to read, understand, and write the English language at the 12th Grade level Basic accounting skills High school diploma or equivalency required Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related discipline preferred Basic Excel, Word and Outlook skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
