Join Our Team as a Pediatric Emergency Medicine Physician in Las Vegas, NV Pediatrix is thrilled to welcome a Pediatric Emergency Medicine fellowship-trained physician to our collaborative and dedicated team at a dynamic pediatric emergency department in Las Vegas. This facility offers a vibrant environment with a high volume of diverse cases, robust subspecialty support, and excellent teaching opportunities, ensuring a rewarding balance between work and life in the exciting city of Las Vegas. Job Responsibilities: * Provide high-quality emergency care to pediatric patients in a high-volume setting ( 55,000 annual visits). * Collaborate with subspecialty teams such as PICU, CVICU, NICU, and hospitalists to manage complex cases. * Work alongside support teams including child life specialists and pediatric social workers. * Engage in bedside teaching and supervision of residents from multiple programs. * Participate in training and didactic sessions for Pediatric ER fellows. * Benefit from full scribe coverage to optimize patient care and documentation. * Work fair, balanced shifts with opportunities for overtime if desired. * Join a physician-led team with excellent compensation and benefits. * Experience a rich mix of pathology and patient acuity in a multidisciplinary environment. Qualifications: * Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency) or Board Certified in Pediatric Emergency Medicine. * Fellowship trained in Pediatric Emergency Medicine. * Ability to obtain a Nevada Medical License. * Clean malpractice and medical license history is highly preferred. * Willingness to relocate to the area if not currently resident. * Visa support requirements (J1 or H1B) noted. License and Certification Requirements: * Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatric Emergency Medicine is required. * Pediatric Emergency Medicine fellowship training is mandatory. * Must have or be eligible for a Nevada Medical License.
