We are seeking a dynamic Software Design Engineer to join our team and play a pivotal role in providing engineering system infrastructure, build, and release support for Visual C++ products. Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the continuity of support for the Visual C++ Runtime and address necessary engineering system requirements and changes.
  • Apply source code changes to supported product versions, enhance supporting infrastructure, document processes, and develop automation to streamline operations.
  • Debug and develop C++ applications and tools crucial for shipping C++ compilers and runtimes on the Windows platform.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • Minimum of 2 years of overall experience in the field
  • 2 years of experience with cloud services and application development, preferably Azure
  • 1 year of experience with C or C++ language
  • Familiarity with MSbuild or comparable build system technologies
  • Experience with setup build technologies like WiX is preferred
  • Ideal candidates will possess experience with complex product build systems, particularly those based on MSBuild.
