Maintenance Technician

Summary/ObjectiveThe position of Maintenance Tech for the Facility reports to the Facilities Manager. The job will be to perform minor repairs to the facility, small tool repair, minor fabrication, Coordinate supplies and replacement parts and assist in the subassembly operation. ResponsibilitiesRespond quickly in the event of an emergency, notify appropriate personnel and follow safety protocol.Perform Preventative Maintenance Checks on equipment and facility.Maintain required recordsMaintain needed inventory of facility supplies (filters, Bulbs Etc.)Repair various small tools (Rivet Guns, Drills, etc.)Perform equipment lubricationPerform building repair projectsPlan and select materials needed to complete a jobMaintain a clean, organized, safe work areaOrder required maintenance suppliesBuild various subassemblies (Tanks, Stands Etc.)Perform other tasks as required.Requirements and CompetenciesObtain and maintain Lift truck (Standup, Sit-down, Scissor lift) Follow all PPE and Safety requirements in facility.Must be able to climb and operate at heights Work on small tool repairsMust be able to read tape measure, micrometer, calipersPerform minor wiring repairs and projectsMust have lock out tag out trainingMust be able to use multi meters, voltmeterWill work with 120 voltAssist with facility related projects as requiredMust maintain a valid driver's license.Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic and other systemsDemonstrated experience as a maintenance technicianPhysically capable of lifting 50 poundsStrong understanding of general maintenance processes and methodsExperienced in operating a variety of equipment, including lift trucks, saws, drills, and small hand toolsWorking knowledge of tools, common appliances, and devicesOutstanding written and verbal communication skillsExcellent manual dexterity and problem-solving skillsParticipate on teams as required
