Lead engineering team, projects, and programs in area of responsibility, and ensure necessary preliminary activities are completed.
Ensure all projects and programs are completed according to requirements, focusing on product/process specifications, costs, resource utilization, and timeliness.
Document all phases of project, program, and/or process development and report information to other functional areas as needed.
Establish departmental budgets and spending requirements, optimizing material and financial resources for maximum productivity.
Assign work to subordinate staff, providing professional development and coaching.
Lead research and development of new manufacturing technologies and incorporate them into products/services.
Utilize engineering technology and software packages for design optimization and rapid commercialization.
Requirements:
Education:
Master/Bachelor Degree in Engineering with years of relevant manufacturing experience.
Experience:
At least 3 years of supervisory experience managing a team.
Industry Experience:
Manufacturing, electronics, semiconductor are highly preferred.
Skills:
Problem-solving and quality-minded personality.
Additional:
Ability to manage deadlines and different levels of stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Understanding of Applied Materials global standards of business conduct and compliance.
