Position Summary

Provides comprehensive administrative support for education programs and activities in the Department of Radiology. Serves as primary program coordinator for ACGME Neuroradiology Fellowship and Molecular Imaging Residency programs. Coordinates activities for medical student electives, imaging rounds and continuing medical education (CME) initiatives.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provides administrative support for ACGME Neuroradiology Fellowship and Molecular Imaging Residency programs, including direct support to Program Directors, Associate Program Directors, Education Supervisor, and trainees.
  • Ensures programs meet all accreditation, hospital and board standards.
  • Coordinates applicant interview process, trainee onboarding, orientation, program evaluations and reviews, and graduation/offboarding. Responsible for collecting and/or entering relevant program data.
  • Coordinates and schedules Program Evaluation Committee and Clinical Competence Committee Meetings for the academic year, records meeting minutes and attendance. Prepares CCC report bi-annually with resident milestones and aggregates comments.
  • Coordinates Radiology medical student electives. Assists Course Director and Education Supervisor in creating a rotation and lecture schedule. Distributes course materials to students.
  • Coordinates Imaging Rounds activities, including collecting cases, distributing, and serving as liaison between medical team and assigned trainee.
  • Coordinates continuing medical education (CME) activities and conferences. Creates and distribute program materials, records attendance and collects evaluations. Assists CME Director with Regular Scheduled Series 6-month report and annual renewal.
  • Assists with other educational activities as needed, including WCM Areas of Concentraion Events, workshops, career nights, and medical student social events.
  • Responsible for disbursement/reimbursement activities as needed.
  • Coordinates calendars and schedules appointments and meetings. Prioritizes requests for meetings and coordinates the necessary arrangements. Prepares materials for meetings and/or trainings as needed.
  • Performs other related tasks such as assisting in organizing and duplicating materials, filing, editing documents/presentations, report writing, outreach activities and meeting minutes.
Education
  • High School Diploma
Experience

Bachelor's degree preferred.

Approximately 3 years of related experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office Suite and database applications.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to pay close attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team within a fast-paced working environment.
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
