We are looking for a

Manufacturing Engineer

to join our Chattanooga, TN team.

The level of the role will depend on the qualifications of the candidate . As a uniquely qualified candidate, you will:
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for equipment and processes in manufacturing of high precision polymer tubing.
Participate in, and lead, continuous improvement projects related to existing processes and equipment. Tirelessly strive to improve existing production processes and operations to increase yield, efficiency and throughput.
Use data driven decision making with foundational knowledge of statistical and lean techniques.
Participate in process and test method validation activities, including protocol and report generation, as well as data collection and analysis.
Work as part of a cross-functional team including quality, operations, customer solutions, and technical services to provide the support needed to deliver high quality product in a timely manner.
Support the effectiveness of the quality system by actively participating in NCRs, complaints, CAPAs, and root cause

investigations.

Practice good documentation practices consistently.
Review customer product specifications to determine manufacturing capability and communicate findings clearly to the cross-functional team.
Perform part setup, including manufacturing documentation, bill of materials, and routing needed to manufacture product successfully.
Train production personnel as required.
Follow all company safety and quality policies and promote a culture of safety and quality in the workplace.
Other duties as required.
Education and Experience:
Bachelors degree in relevant engineering discipline (mechanical, chemical, etc).
Minimum of 3 (preference for 5 or more) years of related

engineering/manufacturing

experience
Green belt or black belt certification preferred, but not required.
Have strong written and verbal communication skills.
Computer proficiency including knowledge of Microsoft Excel. VBA programming a plus.
Candidate must be highly motivated and independent.
Experience with Minitab is beneficial but not required.
