CEI Senior Project Engineer

CDR Maguire (CDR|M) is a full-service transportation, planning, design, construction management/construction inspection, and project & program management engineering firm. CDR Maguire is seeking a CEI Senior Project Engineer to provide supervision and engineering/construction management support for projects in District 1 & 7 (Tampa area).

Essential Functions:

+ Direct highly complex and specialized construction engineering administration and inspection program.

+ Plans and organizes the work of subordinate and staff members.

+ Develops and/or reviews policies, methods, practices, and procedures.

+ Reviews programs for conformance with Department standards

Requirements

+ Civil Engineering degree

+ P.E. license in the state of Florida (or if registered in another state, ability to obtain registration in the State of Florida within initial six months of employment).

+ Prior relevant work experience in the Tampa or Orlando area (required).

+ Five (5) years of Senior Project Engineer experience (required) with an overall ten (10) years of related engineering experience (preferred).

+ Minimum of two (2) of the years of related experience must be in major road or bridge construction and five (5) years in major bridge construction.

+ For non-degreed personnel the aforementioned registration and ten (10) years of engineering experience (two (2) years of which are in major road or bridge construction).

+ Ability to communicate effectively in English verbally and in writing.

+ Must have the following:

+ Qualifications: Attend the CTQP Quality Control Manager course and pass the examination.

+ Certifications: FDOT Advanced MOT
