Description

ESC has an exciting opportunity for an EDI Specialist, starting as a contract role supporting our premier retail client's ecommerce operations. As an EDI Specialist you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth flow of electronic data interchange (EDI) processes between the company and its vendors, particularly focusing on Purchase Orders (850), Invoices (810), and Advanced Ship Notices (ASNs 856). You will be responsible for identifying errors within raw data and implementing corrective actions to maintain data accuracy and integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze raw data, especially focusing on POs (850), Invoices (810), and ASNs (856), to identify errors and discrepancies.Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to resolve EDI-related issues promptly.Configure and maintain EDI connections between our client and vendor's Value Added Network (VAN), ensuring seamless data transmission.

Required Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, or related field.Knowledge of EDI standards and protocols, particularly related to POs (850), Invoices (810), and ASNs (856).Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and troubleshoot data errors effectively.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external vendors.Detail-oriented with a commitment to ensuring data accuracy and integrity.Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
