The Atlantic Group has partnered with a top investment firm in Boston, MA that is in search of a Client Service Associate to join their North America Client Service team. In this role, you'll be assisting Relationship Managers in planning client calls and meetings, reviewing meeting materials, communicating with clients, documenting meeting notes, managing follow-up tasks, identifying potential cross-sell opportunities, and ensuring exceptional client experiences. We're looking for someone who is dedicated, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and confident, with a keen interest in the financial industry and a desire for a long-term career path in institutional client service, sales, or consultant relations. Ideally, you'll bring prior client service experience in asset management or financial services.

Location: Boston, MA (hybrid, 3 days in office)

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting Relationship Managers in effectively servicing clients
  • Maintaining and updating client information, and facilitating account activities such as openings, transitions, restructurings, and closings
  • Developing a comprehensive understanding of client needs across different types of clients
  • Communicating with internal teams (e.g., Compliance, Operations, Performance, Portfolio Construction) and external parties (clients, custodians) in a clear and efficient manner
  • Scheduling, organizing, and preparing materials for client meetings
  • Attending onsite meetings and conference calls, and documenting meeting notes for internal distribution
  • Tailoring responses to client requests based on their individual needs and concerns
  • Gaining deep insight into the firm, its resources, and the integration of various functional groups within its business processes

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent, with strong academic credentials
  • 3-6 years of relevant client service experience in investment management, financial services, or operations
  • Ability to manage deadlines and multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Highly effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Superior attention to detail and the ability to independently follow through on tasks to completion
  • Strong business judgment
  • A collaborative team-player mentality
