Our client is seeking a Senior Traffic Engineer - Project Manager who can effectively lead transportation planning, traffic study, and design assignments in their brand-new office HQ. This hire will have an opportunity to play a critical role in project delivery through effective leadership within the team.

Responsibilities

? Effectively interact with staff to deliver project solutions

? Mentor engineering staff in all phases of transportation planning and traffic signal design

? Preparation of technical traffic memorandums, studies, and reports

? Preparation of signal design plans, specifications, and estimates

? Supporting role in client meetings and public presentations

Skills

? Verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

? Through responsible autonomy, manage individual tasks and assignments

? Self-starter and motivator with attention to detail

? Experience with AutoCAD and/or Civil 3D is a plus

Opportunities

? Quality control review of all transportation planning, traffic study, and design components

? Management tasks including schedules, budgets, contracts, invoicing, etc.

? Facilitation of client meetings and public presentations

? Business development assignments to assist with our projected growth

? Personal growth and professional development through effective management

Qualifications

? BS in civil engineering or related field

? Licensed PE required, PTOE a plus

? 7+ years of transportation/traffic design experience

? Familiarity with MUTCD and MassDOT design manuals, standards, and procedures
