Primary Responsibilities: Develop and maintain dashboards in Power BI for major cost centers (direct labor, material cost, distribution) to drive cost reduction projects, and provide useful communication of the financial performance and trends to the team. Key finance stakeholder in ECO reviews for determining impacts to cost and product margins before implementation. This will include a full understanding of the BOM and production processes. Support the department during the annual budget process. This includes enhancing existing budgeting tool, data consolidation and any other separate analysis needed within each department to aid in accurate projections and productive discussions when presenting to the executive team. Assist in the annual pricing strategy by gathering large sets of data for review of vendor pricing, material and labor costs and other site performance that would impact product margins. Considerable involvement with the IT department to test, review and implement changes during and after analysis. Run SQL queries to extract data from multiple systems to gather data and develop analytics reports. Validation of new and existing reports. This will include accuracy of reports and involve working with the IT department and troubleshooting within the system when required. Standard Weekly/Monthly/Quarterly Responsibilities: Update business performance analysis reports and key performance indicators (KPIs), along with improving the reports as needed by the business to aid in decision making and predictive analysis. Update monthly and quarterly financial presentations, as well as other ad-hoc presentations required by management. Financial Statement review with Accounting to ensure proper understanding and accuracy of expenses by comparing to budgets, forecasting, variance to prior periods, and any other insight from involvement of key projects. Assist with Quarterly and Year End Physical Inventories. Other (ad hoc) Responsibilities: Provide analytical support to Finance Operations Manager, and other ad hoc projects as needed. Ability to learn and navigate through multiple software programs used by the site for Sales, Operations, and analysis. Required Education And Experience BS/BA degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics or related field Advanced degrees (MS, MBA, MA), preferred Minimum of 5 years of business-related (preferably Finance/Statistics/ Engineering) experience Manufacturing experience desired Solid computer skills Microsoft (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) Working knowledge of SQL (preferred) Great Plains Experience (preferred) Detail-oriented with good business acumen Problem-identifier and problem-solver Ability to manage change in a rapidly developing environment. Big Data Analytics. Supervisory Responsibility This position has no supervisory responsibilities. Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be stationed in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, scanners, fax machines, and filing cabinets. Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to speak and listen. This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required.
