Summary:

Our elite team of nurses also float to the ICU and ED to assist with Boarder Med/Surg patient populations as they wait for a bed to transition to lower level of inpatient care.

Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients across various units or departments within the healthcare facility, adhering to evidence-based practice guidelines, standards of care, and institutional policies and procedures.

Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical and psychosocial status, monitor vital signs, and assess responses to treatment interventions, identifying changes in condition and escalating concerns as needed.

Registered Nurse (RN) to join our amazing Level One Nurse Professionals in our acute care float pool. Fulltime 12-hour day/night shift Joining the float pool enhances skills as you float throughout 12 Medical Surgical units.

Administer medications, intravenous (IV) fluids, and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accuracy, safety, and compliance with medication administration protocols and patient rights.

Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient assessments, care plans, interventions, and responses to treatment in electronic medical records (EMR) or other documentation systems, adhering to regulatory and legal requirements.

Provide patient and family education on health conditions, treatment plans, medication management, self-care techniques, and discharge instructions, promoting patient engagement and empowerment in their healthcare journey.

 

Must have:

Grad of an Accredited Program or 2 years of work experience above the minimum qualification.

Major - Nursing experience - 2 Years of Experience

 

Certification / License:

State License

Basic Life Support (BLS): BLS or BLS within 30 days of hire or transfer.
