This position reports to the Senior Income Tax Manager and is responsible for managing the preparation and review of Federal and state tax returns. The Tax Manager will work closely with the tax team to meet various deadlines and be involved in researching technical aspects of US taxation.

Key Job Responsibilities

Manage the preparation, review and filing of the US Consolidated Federal and State Income tax return compliance along with separate State tax filings Assist with preparation of tax provision Identify and manage the implementation of initiatives and process improvements Identify and resolve substantive and procedural tax issues, including the interpretation of statutes and regulations Provide leadership and direction to staff preparing federal, state & local income tax compliance for main reporting group as well as affiliated companies Contribute to the development of staff and cross training __________________

Education Requirements

Bachelor in Accounting or similar discipline Preferred Master’s Degree and/or CPA General Requirements

6+ year experience working; preferable in big 4 accounting firm and / or multinational corporation tax department Results-oriented professional, capable of managing a high performance team that contributes to company performance Ability to exhibit strong project management skills Desire to contribute to organizational goals Strong federal and multi-state income tax background Experience with international tax planning and compliance Knowledge of tax compliance and provision systems, and financial accounting/reporting systems Organized and reliable tax professional with practical experience and solid technical tax skills Ability to work independently, multi-task and prioritize under pressure and within timeline constraints Experience and comfortable working in a fast-paced and empowered environment Physical Requirements
