Senior Java Developer Salt Lake City, UT Long-Term: $60-$85 per hour

Our client is in search of a Senior Java Developer to join their team on a long-term contract. You will focus on enhancing the eREP (Electronic Resource Eligibility Product) system and associated applications. This role offers the flexibility of working remotely from home within Utah for a portion of the work week, with a requirement to be onsite at least 2 days per week.The eREP system is a web-based platform developed in Java utilizing technologies such as JBoss, Oracle, MongoDB, Spring Hibernate, DROOLS, Vaadin, and others.

Responsibilities

:

Develop Java code to implement requested features and functionalities using a combination of open-source technologies and custom solutions within the Spring/Hibernate framework. Please note that this role may involve access to highly confidential information of various kinds, and strict adherence to information access policies is mandatory. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong self-direction, effective communication skills, and the ability to thrive within a high-performance team environment.

Required Skills:

Java 1.8 or higher programming experience duration and quality. Experience with writing Soap and RESTful web services using the Spring Framework, Implementing Spring Security, Reading / Writing Spring Data to Postgres and Mongo databases. Experience with an eligibility and enrollment system, or other Governmental systems particularly that related to public benefits or payments/collections.

Nice to Have:

Full stack, Jira and or GIT experience a plus
