Job Interest Sheet Division/Department: Pork Location: Marshalltown Job title: Inventory Supervisor Reports to: Adam Root Hourly Rate: Salary Type of position: Full-Time 1st Hours: Flexible as needed; some weekends required General Description: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Inventory Supervisor for our pork manufacturing plant. As our Inventory Supervisor , you will be responsible for managing the inventory, liaising with production managers and supervisors to ensure adequate stock levels, monitoring inventory budget and ensuring that the inventory control procedures are met at all times. •Develop and implement inventory control procedures, policies and guidelines to ensure the timely and accurate recording , storage and movement of goods •Oversee inventory control systems and processes to ensure accuracy and reliability •Manage inventory to ensure stock is available to meet production requirements •Work closely with production managers, supervisors and sales department to forecast demand and adju st inventory levels accordingly •Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods •Ensure the integrity of the warehouse management system •Conduct regular inventory aud its to maintain accuracy levels •Monitor warehouse activities to ensure compliance with safety, quali ty and environmental procedures •Analyze data to identify trends and opportuni ties for continuous improvement •Develop and deliver regular reports to mana gement on inventory performance •Manage the inventory budget Education Requirements •Preferred Bachelor's degree in Su pply Chain Managem ent, Logistics or related field •3+ years of experience in inventory management, preferably in the pork manufacturing industry •Knowledge of inventory control systems and procedures; Strong analytic al skills & attention to detail •Excellent written and verbal communication skills •Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Approved by: Marisela Ramirez Posting Date: 05/06/2024 Closing Date: 05/16 /2024 JBS is an Equal Opportunity Employer EOE/Vets/Disabled
