As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment within a government location. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols, staying visible to help discourage unwanted activity, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do: Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including responding to emergencies as appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the assigned government location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity. Monitor for unusual or suspicious activity and report findings according to established protocols. Carry and maintain assigned firearms and equipment in accordance with Allied Universal and client guidelines. Document all incidents, observations, and activities thoroughly and accurately in daily reports. Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency responders when required by incident or protocol. Assist visitors and employees by providing information and directions as needed while maintaining security-related protocols. Minimum Requirements: An armed guard card or license is required. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
